The meme-of-memes I keep finding everywhere but never try out for myself. At least until now.

Tell me of a fandom you know I know of and I'll tell you:

1. The first character I first fell in love with
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
4. The character I love that everyone else hates
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
6. The character I would shag anytime
7. The character I'd want to be like
8. The character I'd slap
9. A pairing that I love
10. A pairing that I despise

And, what the hell, here is a little RL whining as well.

I had no idea how much time and comfort RL can grab at you. To be more specific, wooooork, busyness, this very month (May), and stressful!mind can certainly eat up a lot of my time to rest when I am not feeling insomniac (the least I can do nowadays is doze for a while). Not to mention write, and /relax/. I fear that my creative muse (aka productivity) has been exhausted as well. Oh, what a day; what a day.

Not to mention I also feel quite fatigued. And very unmotivated. Which brings me to another unresolved problem . . . how on earth can one rid oneself of an enormously nagging/troublesome writer's block? This cursed lack of writing has been following me around for quite some time now and driving me up to my toes in frustration. Not even organized schedules can help out as it usually ends up with me staring blankly at said paper or computer screen. It feels as though I can no longer write anything anymore. I fear this will eventually become a problem for RL as well. *Nothing* seems to kick up my motor and enthusiasm to write. Is something wrong with me? Or has this catastrophe happened to others as well? If so, is there a cure or remedy to this? I fear if this writer's block continues to persist me, I may also become like another Henry Roth. Admittedly, his chronic block was a rather extreme case, so I can only hope his devastating fate will not be the end of me and my fanfiction writing career as well.

In any case, this is the list of things I must do.

What I Know I Definitely Have To Do
-finish all the drabbles from the last drabble request (haha! gawp in horror at how slow and unproductive I am!)
-finish the alternate pairing ficlets for the people (especially Ladii and Lazynin) who requested for one, two, or several.
-write out the May!challenge one-shot for Sunny Day Love.
-Write a Uchiha one-shot for the Inter Clan challenge as well.
-NaruIno May, challenge ficlet
-Temari/Sasuke, and Tenten/Sasuke/Temari ficlets for the TenSasuTema community
-Giftfics. :)
-Get some sleep. (Relatively important for my health at some point.)
-Finish several essays, rants, and analogies at some point.

Random Ficlets I Plan To Write Later
-Sasuke/Hinata fanfiction
-NejiHina, NejiHana, or HinaHana drabble (I have yet to decide)
-Rookie Nine or Kunoichi-centric gen/snap-shots
-KibaHina and/or Lee+Hinata
-Naruto/Tenten what-not
-NaruSakuSasu ficlet
-Bleach: Rukia and Orihime one-shot, Ichigo&Soi Fong fic (You see, Soi Fong/Yoruchi is an excellent (and hot) yuri pairing, but sadly it also appears to account for the main reason why Soi Fong never seems to come into contact with any of the male characters of Bleach in fan fiction. This fic may not be necessarily romantic, but I have wanted to experiment on how Ichigo and Soi Fong may interact around each other.)

And, that is all.

Naruto, of course. *grins*

I'm sorry to hear that you're so exhausted, Kagura. *hugs* Take some time off fandom and see how you feel, y'know? I'm sure no one will be too upset if you don't write fanfiction and/or rants everyday. ;D Eat lots of things you enjoy and have some fun in RL! Hey, I'm only advising you with things other people have advised me on...I hope it'll help.

As for writer's block...ugh, it's possibly the worst thing that could happen to an aspiring author. To this day, I still don't know what can help a person with said problem, but Kisara always tells me to pick a random quote and start with that. *shrugs* I'm not sure if it'll work with everyone, though.

It's happening to me right now! I wanted to sit down and write a NaruIno fic for the contest...but nothing comes up. Nothing comes up at all. Maybe a few sentences, but those end up getting erased. Don't curse yourself! I don't know who Henry Roth is, but from what you said of him, I hope that'll never happen to you.

Kagura! D: Put 'Get some sleep' all the way at the top of that first list, 'kay? Homigosh, don't kill yourself for us!

With all that said, I can and will wait for your future fanfics. I'm not going to perish because of that. Remember that I haven't started most of the requests back from March. ;D

Thank you for the advice and hugs. *hugs back* :) I will definitely take what you have said into consideration (but just after I get a few things off my shoulders to lessen the burden). Sleep, however, is almost non-existent, as it is what I try to get every day, yet get in barely sufficient amounts of when I do not gulp a sleeping pill. Unfortunately, that is starting to frazzle my nerves.

You have a similar situation? Ah, misery does love company. But nevertheless, we must push through it somehow and get motivation to write more. To top if off, I really wish to see a NaruIno ficlet from you.

And by the way, Henry Roth was a man who had chronic writer's block. (I.e it persisted for sixty years!)

1. The first character I first fell in love with
That would be Iruka. His kind, sensitive nature and what he did for Naruto when he defended him from Mizuki's attack was honorable. I fell in love with his character. 'Twas a shame when I unwillingly realized he would not show his face again afterward (or at least not very often), and oh the horrors! when I discovered the KakaIru fandom. The poor man, his character is consistently bastardized in a daily basis in that fandom and from what I have read and found out.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Rock Lee. He struck me very little on his initial appearance (though I did get some laughs) and I assumed he would be nothing but a comedy-character. How wrong I was when I read the chapters where he defended Sakura, and showed depth, courage, and maturity. I fell in love for what he stood for, and his personality.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Uchiha Itachi. His relationship with Sasuke perked me. And his character's psychology, of course, is rather interesting to study, analyze, and discuss (e.g his reasoning for killing his blood family), but other than that . . . I just do not feel a strong attraction for him (appearance-wise or personality-wise). Not to mention his fans cheapen my liking for him. I laugh at the people who claim he has *depth*. And I am one-hundred percent certain that someone had done what he had done in the series in Real Life, it would not be considered "cool" at all. It is a horrible sin he committed, and I do not even attempt to give him justice for what others try to claim he did was out of "family stress" or such.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Akimichi Chouji. Why do others hate him? Is it because he is fat? I find that he is chubby and adorable. His personality is also very lovely and sweet. *sigh* Of course the sexy, angsty bishounen of this series will always win over him.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
Yondaime Hokage. I cannot even believe I even liked him in the beginning. He is one-dimensional, he has as much depth as a cardboard box, or perhaps a rock. Perhaps I liked him for what he did, but his character simply bores me now. Unless we get to find out more about him than what we know now, I regard him with yawning disinterest.

6. The character I would shag anytime
Too many to count. But mainly Kiba, Hinata or mayhap Asuma.

7. The character I'd want to be like
Tayuya. Ahahahaha. XD Truthfully, though, I would like to be like someone similar to Rock Lee; the courageous epitome of what I look up to in a person.

8. The character I'd slap
Sasuke. Or Sai. Take your pick.

9. A pairing that I love
I have too many to choose from. But Lee/Tenten, Sakura/Hinata, Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke, and Anko/Iruka will always hold a place in my heart. (I have no clue how I grew to be so fond of all my alternate 'ships.)

10. A pairing that I despise
Not many if at all. I am open-minded to many 'ships. If anything, though, it would be KakaIru, or Sasuke/girly!uke!Naruto.

ero_kitsune

Hmmmm....I would say Naruto, but that's too obvious. How about Bleach?

As for the writing block, all I can say to that is that everyone who has actual responsibilities in real life experiences it at some point or another. Professional Authors don't count though as they are paid to do nothing but write.

I am usually afflicted by self-induced writer's block in that I usually don't try to write, but when I want to end it or other forms of writer's block I usually read or play video games :) The one thing I always do though is avoid the fandom I would want to write for like the plague; if you don't see it, you won't think about it and can therefore relax enough to write....or that's how it is for me.

That's certainly quite a workload, but I think more than anything else you should really focus on sleep and your own personal needs above writing. Writing is fun and if you enjoy it, then it is important, but not so important as to sacrifice your own well-being/happiness/sanity in order to fulfill a few trivial requests/contests. Anyways, I do look forward to your future rants, drabbles, fics and etc,.. just don't overdo it. :)

psyched_kagura

Self-induced writer's block? Astounding; prior to this, I was under the impression that there was no such thing. Thank you for enlightening me, Ero Kitsune. I have learned better now. It sounds vaguely similar to procrastination + distraction, though. *scratches chin* But you have interesting tips for better writing. An excellent idea for better writing!

Ah, isn't it? I, myself, was under the impression I only had a small workload, although after looking back on this I realize perhaps that "relatively small" workload is bigger than I realized. I promise not to overdo it, and with hope, I will be able to get a long-needed nap later on this week. For now, I am still clogged up with work that I Must Finish Or Else.

And Bleach it is.

1. The first character I first fell in love with
Karin, hands down. Snarky, cool-headed, moderately selfless, quiet, and wry, she struck me immediately as quite a curious character with an especially amusing relationship with her respective family members. I actually love almost all the Bleach cast, but she is one of the firsts I grew fond of. A respectable, and definitely more-than-average character, I concede that she would win <3s from me far more than her dear papa ever would, sad or not to say.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Soi Fong. During her initial appearance into the series, I fundamentally regarded her as an icy, aloof, and all-around angsty character (though I did like her character design) with a low tolerance to company, if at all. And then, when Yoruchi makes herself known in the series, we have a lonely girl who had not only a complex, but a strong and emotional loyalty to a woman who seemingly abandoned her, and an intricate past to boot. I like her a lot now.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Ichigo. I admit it, I think almost /nothing/ of the protagonist. Although I acknowledge that his fierce friendship with Rukia was one of the most strongest points of the series, I still feel the fandom is highly over-rating this potty-mouthed character. Honestly, hollow!Ichigo and Zangetsu are a bit more interesting than he is in my opinion. Nevertheless, has shown wonderful attributes in the series, though his major power up did nothing but bore me when I witnessed it.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Ichimaru Gin? Creepy-as-you-can-get and disliked by many fans for an odd reason. His past relations with Matsumoto Rangiku were adorable as well, might I add. Additionally, he is not the generic villain, and I think there may be depth to his character with luck and good pacing on Kubo Tite's part.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
Ichigo, once again.

6. The character I would shag anytime
Another series filled with too many shag-able characters to count. Mayhap Rukia (girl or not, I cannot help it), Soi Fong, or Nemu. :-)

7. The character I'd want to be like
Tatsuki. Her loyalty to Orihime is amazing.

8. The character I'd slap
Gin! Or maybe Aizen.

9. A pairing that I love
H, where to start. I cannot say that I have only one favorite. Orihime/Tatsuki, Yoruchi/Soi Fong, Renji/Rukia, Urahara/Yoruchi, Shunsui/Nanao, and Chad/Karin are all beautiful 'ships. I have many more, of course, but these are the lovely pairings I hold a place in my heart to in this series.

10. A pairing that I despise
Aizen/Hinamori. As much as this pairing is shown canon, and Hinamori's devotion to her captain is admirable, but this is a twisted pairing I have no appeal or interest in. Which surprises me, because I am usually quite tolerant to most disturbing pairings on a whole. Oh, and there is also Ichigo/Rukia is nonplatonic. That is a Never Done Well, not to mention the series itself does nothing but strengthen their strong friendship, not romanticize it.

Since it appears Naruto and Bleach have been taken, I shall venture to say...D.N.Angel?

Certainly, work, real life commitments, and online business can leave one feeling quite taxed. It is my hope that you will find some time to relax and take a load off, Kagura-san. I can relate to your writer's block, as it has happened to me many times before, often for long periods of time (as evident by how long it takes me to update...) All I can really say is that in time it will hopefully go away, perhaps when your mind is not quite so flustered with work, business, fatique, stress, ninja. Its certainly not that something is wrong with you :P

It looks like you have a lot to do. It makes my own list look so...small >.> As others have said, real life is always a priority though.

I will now share with you another of my comical jokes! :D

Q: What do you get when you mix beans and onions?

A: Tear gas!

*crickets*

Please take care :)

My apologies, Kaze-san. I have just done the fandom, D.N.Angel for another good friend, mithlin_megil and I forgot that you asked for it first. Nevertheless, feel free to ask of another fandom you know of that has not yet been asked yet.

Your advice is what I need to follow one day soon. My brain grows desperately frazzled these days, and yet I remain hopeful that the Writer's Block may disintegrate when I get a sufficient time to sleep, relax, and relish free time.

My list is rather shamefully big. But with a bit of luck on my side, I may be able to complete them in time. I merely wish I had that mcuh faith in my ability to write consistently.

*grin* And you to let you know, that joke was amusing. Or, at least I got the gist of it.

_acerbitas_

You can do it! Wow, that's so much to do...I feel your pain. I do hope you get out of your writer's block, because it's a terrible illness that limits your ability to function in everyday life. XD

I read your reply to ladii's question! I love Rock Lee and Chouji! I'm so glad I'm not alone. That makes me very glad to know that somebody else sees how lovely they are beyound appearances. I want to slap Sasuke too. >.< Oh Sasuke.

And SakuraxHinata! *__* *loves on you*

psyched_kagura

Thank you for the encouragement I also hope that this chronic problem shall escape me when I get a good long sleep and more thinking time. *sigh* And my list does look rather long, doesn't it? But you should also speak for yourself. *grin* 97 Gaara/Anyone drabbles? That sounds like quite a challenge . . .

What a shame that such a yuri pairing can be so under-appeciated pairing in the Naruto fandom. It deserves a lot more love than what I am currently seeing. Not to mention it is a very sexy yuri pairing to boot. :)

Oh, and this reminds me. Acerbitas, what will happen to your community, growandblossem? I am curious to know since nothing has happened for a while, and the last I have seen of the poll is that Grow and Blossom and SakuHina are in a tie currently.

Also, do you have any fandom you know of that you would like to ask me of? (With exception to FMA, my apologies, but I am left quite unaware concerning this series.)

Mon, May. 15th, 2006 07:58 pm (UTC)
_acerbitas_

I hope so too! It does look long. Haha, yes, it does, and right now I'm pretty stuck. @__@ Hopefully I can write some tonight.

Yes, I'm afraid most yuri pairings are underapprechiated in most fandoms in general. It's very sad. And yes, it is rather sexy!

I have no idea what's going to happen to it. I must talk to the guy of the other one. Somebody suggested his site with my layout. I like that, but perhaps someone with more skillz should make the layout, for I cannot do that crazy stuff where you fiddle with code already there...@_@

Hmm...well, do you know Fruits Basket? Or, this is a laugh, Gravitation? I used to be a frightening Gravi girl. I still have all the stuff I collected....

Fri, May. 19th, 2006 12:48 am (UTC)
psyched_kagura

*salute* Good luck to your challenge, Acerbitas. I hope to finish my list of ficlets, but I will always keep an eye out for your stories as well.

/Yes, I'm afraid most yuri pairings are underapprechiated in most fandoms in general./

*snerk* With exception to the series known as Shoujo Kakumei Utena and Kannazuki no Miko, you have made a fine point. There is such a lack of yuri love, although I am unsure to be relieved about this or disappointed. (With more attention to yuri, the bad!fic come in, and for now the yuri fandom remains fairly clean.)

Well, until you and the other mod can make up a conclusion to this SakuraxHinata community chaos, I shall refrain from posting until the peremptory choice is decided.

Sadly, I can only draw a blank for Gravitation, although I have heard of it. So, Fruits Basket, it is.

1. The first character I first fell in love with
Kagura Sohma, of course. <3 She is not only a hilarious character with funny and sudden mood swings and a violent temper to boot, but she and I have the same names. :)

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Shigure. Amusing at the start, but only later do we learn more of this elusive and ambiguous character.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
All the characters are lovable in their own unique way, though I would say that I vaguely dislike Ayame, aka Yuki's older brother. I could go into great length telling you why, but for now I settle with an almost-hatred for the Snake.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Perhaps Tohru. For some odd reason, the heroine will *always* get inevitably bashed for some reason. Personally, I admire her: she is a character who can get up after bereavement and live for her mother instead of weeping or constantly mourning like so many other characters have done. What she did for Sohma Kisa, and Kyo, is worth great respect. *sigh* I suspect the hatred she receives is mainly from the Kyo/Yuki fans . . .

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
Sohma Hiro. *yawns*

6. The character I would shag anytime
*grin* Shigure? Ritsu? Or possibly Haru . . .

7. The character I'd want to be like
Kagura. As much as Honda Tohru's personality is respectable, she is unfortunately rather timid and similar to a doormat-like character. Kagura, however, is a character that refuses to back down, and she has one very tough backbone. Not even Kyo's biting insults can hurt her for very long. Perky and perceptive.

8. The character I'd slap
Akito. My apologies, but she grates my nerves often for what she has done to the other Sohma members in spite of her angsty reasons and her past.

9. A pairing that I love
Does the threesome, Kyo/Yuki/Tohru count? If not, then I will go for Kagura/Tohru or Kisa/Momiji.

10. A pairing that I despise
Almost anyone with Akito. Especially Tohru/Akito--if this can even be considered a pairing. Usually the fan fictions that portray this relationship end up to be hurt/comfort stories about Tohru/Yuki or Tohru/Kyo after Tohru is raped by male!Akito (I assume it is the anime version? Since Akito's gender is not male for the manga...). Shigure/Akito is likely the only few pairings I can tolerate.

My apologies for keeping this list rather brief. I feel unusually tired today, and almost no enthusiasm to go deeply into depth.

Fri, May. 19th, 2006 01:31 am (UTC)
_acerbitas_

Thank you so much! I hope that I can complete them XD There are so many...

Oh! Utena! My friend is really obsessed with it. I've only seen a few episodes.

<3 Kagura is an interesting character. One of the best stories I ever read was KyouxKagura. Unfortunetly I don't think I'll ever find it, because it wasn't on FF.net (what a suprise) or LJ. XD

I'm exactly the same way with Shigure! For the longest time he was just there, but recently he's gotten so facinating! *_*

Ayame? O.o I've never known anybody who hated Ayame. It would be interesting to know why. I don't really like him one way or the other. He's just a 'he's there' character for me, except sometimes he can get on my nerves.

I like Tohru alot. She's just so helpful and lovely. <3

I'd shag Shigure too. However, there is a slight problem...XD

Akito does deserved to be smacked. She is such an ass...words cannot describe. I enjoy alot of pairings with her...I think it's because they are angstfests. However, I do not like Akito/Tohru. I think it's just...cruel to Tohru...XD I actually love ShigurexAkito and HatorixAkito (I wrote it once). ^__^;;

That's okay! Being tired can just be bleagh. @__@

DNangel, of course. =3 This is actually your fault, as you've given me such a good source for scanalations and therefore ensuring that DNangel would forever be on my mind - and list of most favorite series as well. Not that I'm blaming you, of course. *grins impishly*

As for writer's block - there's really no surefire way to cure it. Trust me. The worst I've ever had was two long years of writer's block - and even when I forced myself to write, all that ever came out was crap, which I immediately threw into the trash, forever forgotten. The best advice (which I suck at giving, but since it's for you.. ^^) is to get some rest. Go rest, woman! =3 Grab some shut-eye.

Mon, May. 15th, 2006 06:25 am (UTC)
psyched_kagura

D.N.Angel it is, then. I am glad to see that my site-linking has helped you out. The manga version is excellent, isn't it? :-D

Wow, but a whole two year writer's block? Your chronic problem is beginning to unnerve me /a lot/, Mithlin. :O Although, it is fantastic to see that you managed to revert out of such a state of unproductivity. And thank you for that bit of advice concerning rest, I will certainly keep that in mind when I finally get the time to relax again.

1. The first character I first fell in love with
Harada Risa. As annoying as she was depicted (which is coincidentally in a similar fashion to how Haruno Sakura of Naruto was portrayed pre-timeskip) initially, I liked her character all the same. Realistic, blunt, and as normal as you can get from this series. She was whiny, immature, and generally like all teens her age. Which is also why I loved her character growth later on. It was wonderful to watch her mature into a fine, young woman who was wiser in the ways of love.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Dark Mousy. A first-rate "pervert", a pretentious and highly overrated thief, a showoff, and a first-kiss-stealer to boot. He was basically the epitome of 'idiot' in my books in spite of his so-called dashing good looks. I was on Riku's side when she grew to despise him, though after seeing more depth in this character, I grew to like his personality more and appreciate him and his strong relationship with Daisuke. Intricate, enigmatic, and a secret-brooder-beneath-the-smiles, I did not realize I was fond of him until I read up to volume nine.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Anime!Krad. In the anime he was portrayed as a heartless villain, a psycho, practically a bishounen maniac. Guh, I hate his characterization there, and his bastardization. After watching several episodes, I realized *why* he was constantly called a Homicidal Blonde. In the manga version, I found that he is a more ambiguous, elusive, and careful character. Specifically in the manner of his few attempts to kill someone. He did not wildly try and kill everyone in sight, scream "DARRRRRRK" at the top of his lungs, or look as creepy as he does in the anime. Krad in the manga also promises depth with hope, and a little more understanding. I abhor anime!Krad. (Actually, he is still quite creepy in the manga and holds some homosexual tendencies with Satoshi & sometimes Dark, but nothing as bad as the anime, mind you.)

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Harada Risa, of course. It is usually her twin sister who gets more love while she is named off as the shallow "brat". Darn fandom.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
Hiwatari Satoshi. I hold a neutral opinion of him now. In the beginning I was vaguely interested, although now I can hardly bring myself to truly love him. I sympathize for him, though. No one would like to have Krad stuck inside you.

6. The character I would shag anytime
Niwa Kosuke, hands down. Or maybe Emiko. Or the two of them simultaneously.

7. The character I'd want to be like
Everyone would want to be like Riku. Tough, down-to-earth, assertive, and very honest to her feelings and to how she treats other people.

8. The character I'd slap
Krad, any day. Earlier I would have been tempted to say Dark as well, but he has been rather redeemed in my eyes now.

9. A pairing that I love
SatoRikuRisa! (Not exactly a pairing, but oh well.) Originally it was exclusively SatoRisa, although I have now repented for my close-mindedness. I love that threesome to itty-bitty pieces. It can work any way, I am sure of it. SatoRiku is a nice solid pairing by itself, though. Nevertheless, SatoDai and Dark/Riku are also pairings I dabble at.

(Hm, but SatoDaiRikuRisa is also an interesting concept to toy with . . .)

10. A pairing that I despise
Krad/Satoshi or Daisuke/Dark. Ignoring the damned subtext, I see these pairings as flat-out impossible. Dark and Krad live in Satoshi and Daisuke's bodies respectively; they can only come out as see-through people once in a while. I cannot imagine this to ever be physically possible unless there was onanism involved. Not to mention, I imagining Daisuke/Dark as a platonic relationship.

I am in-love with that site. Seriously. I've actually bookmarked that site, and is now currently downloading the Daa! Daa! Daa! manga. Right now, you have my eternal thanks for pointing to me that site and will now commence worshipping of the net gound you walk on. *worships*

Oh yes, a whole two years worth of funtastic writer's block. That's actually the year my dad had the heart attack, so I guess I was entitled to it. But gad. It was horrific. I never want to have another block like that again - 'cause damn, pardon my french, my writings seriously sucked arse during that period. Never again.

I'm hoping you get that relaxation time of yours! You need some Me-Time, Kagura.

Thank you muchly for the list above! *worships* I'm surprised that you like Harada Risa's character - but reading your reasons, it did make sense. Out of all the characters in the manga, she was the most normal. Teenage crushes, and the whole lot. Although in the anime, she threw me off - seriously, going out during midnight to be a Kaitou herself and help Dark Mousy? Bah. DNAngel is really, really painful to watch.

I'm in love with Dark Mousy. It's that purple hair that did me in. *grins* No, seriously, kidding aside - I love Dark Mousy because he's not just a girl/woman-crazy artwork-stealing bishounen - you could really see that he cares for his host. Not just because Daisuke is his host, but because he genuinely cares what happens to that kid.

Anime!Krad is a 'Homicidal Blonde' hands-down. I'd love someone to hold him down while I strangle him - because shrieking "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK!" at the top of his voice does not a line make. Manga!Krad though, is another matter. I've got to agree with you Kagura - I like the handling of Krad more in the manga than in the anime.

Oh man - here I thought I was the only one! In wanting to shag Niwa Kosuke, I mean. I can see Daisuke growing up to be just like his dad.

I must admit, I've ventured to the Pit of Voles earlier today - and man, was I aghast to see the pairings you've listed above! How can Daisuke/Dark be possible? And if it was, it will probably be more of a brother relationship. *scrubs eyes* Seriously, I thought my estimation of the Pit of Voles cannot go any lower - but again, I was wrong. Kiddies, where oh where do you get your ideas? Because, gad. I seriously could not imagine where Daisuke/Dark Mousy comes from.

Forgive me, Kagura, for this ridiculously long comment - I could not resist making a mini-rant. Uhm.. maybe a virtual cookie will make Kagura happy? *offers a cookie* You know, I still worship the net groudn you walk on.. *worships* =3

DNAngel is really, really painful to watch

I meant, DNAngel anime version. *slaps self* Really, Mithlin - you should know better than to hit post without reviewing what you;ve written first. Le sigh.

How about Fruits Basket?

Your list of things to do made me cringe. That's a lot of work, best of luck to ya.

With writer's block, I am afraid I can't really help in that department, I was stuck in a rut for nearly three years once. I find that reading a book of an author you like, or searching randomly in search engines works for me. That and some well deserved sleep!

/4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Akimichi Chouji. Why do others hate him? Is it because he is fat? I find that he is chubby and adorable. His personality is also very lovely and sweet. *sigh* Of course the sexy, angsty bishounen of this series will always win over him./

I so agree. Poor Chouji he needs more love! After all he did kick that Jiroubu when Sasuke couldn't.

I am also intrigued about the website Minthlin megil and you are discussing; could you provide me with the link? I'm a major D.N.Angel fan too and most of the websites I visit seem to be crowded with nothing but junk :<

My apologies, Blouper, but you will have to select another fandom. I have just completed the Fruits Basket list for _acerbitas_ and I have no desire to reiterate this.

Thank you for the extra encouragement! I will try my utmost best to complete these ficlets on my list. With hope, I may finish all the ficlets and take a long break afterward.

Additionally, the link Mithlin mentioned earlier is to this site, known as StopTazmos. It hosts many manga series for download, however D.N.Angel is included as a series there as well.

Ah no worries, I still enjoyed the anwsers to it either way. Besides you've opened my eyes to the yuri section of Fruits Basket. There are good possibilites in it.

I'm going to stray away from the Anime/Manga fandom and venture into the Harry Potter one.

And thank you for the link, you are my new hero ::Huggles DNAngel downloads::

hi! this is random, but _acerbitas_ recommended you to me.

i'm in need of judges/maintainers for a new community... hmmm... all the info is here for now.

if you're interested i'll send you a link to the comm page, which i've begun to set up already. i'd really appreciate your help if you have the time ^_^ if not, i totally understand, and either way recommendations for other judges would be much appreciated! thank you! *hugs*

Thank you for informing me of this new community you are planning out. It sounds quite interesting from what you have outlined in the link given. I appreciate the offer, and I am happy to help out if you are still willing for a new hand.

yay! a new judge! thank you! *bounces*

i set up the main community already (the one that people will archive at), and that's where people will comment with their submissions. and then i set up a community for the judges. the judges' community will be where i post each individual submission and you guys can vote on them there. it will be f-locked so that nobody but the judges will see the posts.

i'm gonna invite you to be a maintainer on the community, if that's okay, and invite you to friend the judge's community. i'm not sure if the invitation will get to you, though ^^; _acerbitas_ didn't get it. do you have an email address where i can send you the links to the communities?

ps- if this is sounding too overwhelming, let me know. the judging likely won't start for another two weeks, and all the decisions on admissions will be made in waves, probably with 10 artists/authors in each wave with a week in between each. that way, you'll only have ten submissions a week to go through. hope this all makes sense...

No problem. :-)

Ah, yes, I have noticed that invitations do not normally work in communities. To sabve you the trouble the email I normally frequent is: deepestdarkestemotions@hotmail.com. Email me there and I will be able to join and friend the two respective communities.

It does make sense from what you have told me. I will try my best to vote for the fan fictions and fanart when the voting begins, and I once again thank you for asking me to take part as a judge/maintainer in your new communities.

wind_borne: Umm... hi?

Er... hi. I hopped over from Sandcest cos I was bored and your LJ icon looked quite cute *gets kicked out* <--what a lame reason

Anyway, what about Ouran High School Host Club? I got into it about four days ago (...) and watched up to episode 10 on YouTube. It was really sweet :D And pure and utter crack.

If I wrote a sandcest one shot, would you critique it?

*grin* Hello there! I am always happy to meet new people on LJ. Although I have no idea how you managed to find me through sandcest, your . . . reason for finding my journal interesting is still quite amusing.:)

Ah, and it is *wonderful* to find another Ouran Host Club lover here. Though frankly, I really had nothing to say about it in this little post--I was merely advertising it to those people who may be interested and I also wished to see exactly how many people on my f-list happened to know the series.

Additionally, If you do complete a Sandcest story, then I will gladly critique the story for you, although be warned, I have yet to finish the previous critiques requested, ergo it may take a while.

. . . . *headdesk* My apologies! I did not realize where you had commented, and I had stupidly believed you commented on the most recent post I made. Completely ignore the first reply, otherwise it will likely make no sense to you. >.>

But, nevertheless, I will do Ouran Host Club for you--concerning the meme above.
